Lacquerware items
- Use a soft sponge or washcloth and with water or liquid detergent. Do not use any abrasive or metal sponges as this may damage the finish.
- After washing, use a towel to wipe dry or place on a drying rack. It is recommended to store in a well ventilated cupboard or area.
- Please do not use a dish washer or place it in the microwave. This will not damage the finish, but the extreme changes in temperature may cause the bowl to crack.
- It is recommended to store out of direct sunlight to extend the useful life of the finish.
Tung oil finish

- About twice a year, or whenever the bowl loses its shine, it is necessary to re-oil the bowl. A drying oil such walnut or linseed oil is recommended, but any oil that will not spoil may be used.
