Product description: This platter features a rubbed lacquer finish with filled grain that both highlights the wood grain and warmth, as well as gives this piece the strength and versatility in regular use for all types of food, wet or dry. In addition, the filled grain makes this platter easy to clean after use. The fluting around the rim changes size similar to a wave as it travels around the bowl, and the hand carved facets have been left unchanged both to create variation in the way the light reflects and add a tactile feature to the platter.
